Button action allows you to control what action should be taken when a certain button is clicked by users. To launch a button setting panel, click on the Style icon after you hover mouse over a button in editor.
1. Link to Other Page
If you want to take your users to another URL when button is clicked, then click “Link to Other Page” radio box.
2. Link to Next Step in Funnel
This option is very handy, when you want to link a button to next step in your funnel. Say you are currently editing Opt-in Page, and next page in your funnel is Upsell Page, then choosing this radio box will link your button to the upsell page. No further action is required to connect two pages in a funnel.
3. OTO Accepted
If you want this button to behave as “YES” button for an OTO offer, then choose this radio box.
4. OTO Rejected
Select this radio box if you want button to be a “NO” button on an OTO page.
5. Attach a Payment Package
This is most important action of a button. It converts a simple button into a “BUY NOW” button. Here is how it works.
First, you will select this radio box.
Next, you will click on DONE button.
Wait a little while, then a popup will appear, asking you to choose a payment package that should be attached to this button.
After you select a payment package, now you will be asked to select which payment plan you want to link with this button.
Understanding payment plan is important. you may want to offer your buyers different payment plans like weekly payments, quarterly or monthly. So this option will allow you to do that. 6. Attach Popup
If you choose this option, your button will be linked to a popup, and your user will see a popup when button is clicked.
There can only be one click popup in a funnel. So, no popup page selection is required. The default popup is already attached to this funnel. You will not be able to change the look and feel of your popup right on this screen. For that you have to go back to your funnel steps and load your popup in editor. 7. Attach to Membership Login
Select this option if you want to take your users to membership login page when this button is clicked.
8. Form Action
If you want to submit either an autoresponder form, or a custom form, then use this option.
a. Attach to an autoresponder form
If your autoresponder setting are already done, then clicking this option will attach your form or button to an autoresponder. For more information, go to autoresponder section in this guide.
Let’s say you have your own web form, and you want to submit it to a PHP page, So that this information can be saved to a database or can be emailed to you, then you need to click on this radio box.
